購入した新品バッテリーの充電ができません。どうすればいいですか？
未使用バッテリーは放電した状態で出荷されますので、ご使用前に充電してください。一般的には１晩の充電（最長：１２時間）をお勧めいたします。取扱説明書の充電指示をご参照ください。充電用電池はフル充・放電を２～４回繰り返し行っていただくと最大容量まで充電できます。 注： 充、放電を行う際、電池が暖かくなりますが異常ではありません。新しいバッテリーは内部材料が新しく、フル充電もされたことがないので最初は充電しにくいです。ご使用の充電器で新しい電池を充電する際、満充電する前にストップしてしまう場合があります。そのような場合、 バッテリーを一度充電器からはずして再度セットしてください。再び充電サイクルがスタートするはずです。新しいバッテリーの充電を初めて行う際にはこのようなことが数回起こる場合もありますが、珍しいことではないのでご安心ください。
バッテリーのお取扱いとご使用方法:
お客様が購入された電池は、放電した状態でお手元に届きますのでご使用前に必ず充電してください。 初めてお使いになる（もしくは長期間使わないで保存していた）場合は、バッテリー性能を最大に引き出す為にご使用前に２～３回の充・放電を行ってください。バッテリーを１ヶ月以上ご使用にならない場合は機器から取り出し、涼しく乾燥した汚れのない場所に保管してください。
充・放電の際に電池が暖かくなりますが、異常ではありません。
バッテリーを充電しておいても長期間未使用の状態ですと、自然放電し、電気容量が失われてしまいます。長期保存後、 バッテリーを使用する際は、再度充電してください。
バッテリー説明にある６セル、９セルって何ですか？
リチウムイオン バッテリーは複数の内蔵セルを組み合わせて構成されています。記述に６セルとあれば６個のセル、９セルとあれば９個のセルがバッテリーパックに内蔵されています。機種によって差がありますので一概には言えませんが、４セルタイプが軽量タイプ、６セルタイプが標準タイプ、９セルタイプが大容量タイプというパターンが最も多く見られます。一方、３セル/６セル/９セルのパターンや４セル/８セル/１２セルのパターンも存在しています。軽量タイプまたは大容量タイプが供給されていない機種もあります。
バッテリーの駆動時間は１個あたりのセル容量とセル数に比例し、セルの内蔵数が多ければ多いほど長時間駆動が可能になります。一方、セルが増えると、重量およびサイズも大きくなります。
大容量タイプの多くは、ノートに装着した際に奥行きの一部が筐体から飛び出す形式になっています。
